The Lone Star Hiking Trail Foundation
LSHTF exists to support and promote the Lone Star Hiking Trail and the mission of the Lone Star Hiking Trail Club. Together our work is rooted in education, conservation, and community engagement to ensure this special trail continues to thrive for generations to come. Here’s how we make an impact:
≫ Educating the Public – We share knowledge about the location, use, and care of hiking trails in Texas, with a special focus on the Lone Star Hiking Trail.
≫ Supporting the U.S. Forest Service – Our volunteers regularly assist with trail maintenance and conservation efforts in partnership with the Forest Service.
≫ Providing Online Resources – We maintain helpful online content for hikers and volunteers, including maps, trail updates, and guidance for trail care.
≫ Growing with the Trail – We adapt our programs as needed to meet the evolving needs of trail building, maintenance, and public engagement.
